This post was made possible by iConnect and Kalahari. I was provided with an overnight stay to facilitate my review and compensation, but all opinions are 100% mine.

It’s officially been 1 week since we’ve returned from Kalahari Resorts in the Poconos and you should be glad you don’t live in my house. I don’t think my ears can take hearing one more time hearing “Mom, do you think we’ll ever go back?”, “Mom, I think we could fit it in this weekend.”, “Mom, are you liiiiiistening to me?? Kalahari!!”.

Kalahari

Apparently, my fear that my kids would be too old for it was totally unfounded. They had an absolute blast! I took my 2 kids, 2 nephews and my niece. In other words, the ages were 11, 12, 13, 15 and 16. We won’t get into what that was like for me in the hotel room…

Kalahari rooms

kidding, kidding

They were all perfect angels (snort). They were oohhing and aahhing just pulling up to the resort!

And then you walk in the lobby, and it certainly doesn’t feel like you’re in Pennsylvania anymore!

There are so many authentic African artifacts everywhere you turn. Even after I was done checking in, the kids just wanted to stay and hang out in the lobby to explore!

But we eventually made it to the water park and it did not disappoint!

There was a lazy river, whirlpools, a basketball pool

Slides and swings for the smaller kids!

And SO many slides for the older kids!

They even tricked me into getting on this particular slide and it was sooo much more fun than I expected!

There are a few different snack stands/bars within the water park, including The Thirsty Turtle, a swim-up bar!

The girls pretty much spent 80% of their time on the Flow Rider. They had an absolute blast!

Kalahari Resorts offers so much, though, besides just the water park! There’s a spa on site, fitness center, arcade, mini golf, and bowling!

And plenty of options to purchase snacks or whole meals!

It was such a nice break before the chaos of the holidays hit, and so fun to go somewhere where every single person has fun regardless of age or other interests!
